ye saw in me-- (Act 16:12, Act 16:19, &c.; Th1 2:2). I am "in nothing terrified by mine adversaries" (Phi 1:29), so ought not ye. The words here, "ye saw . . . and . . . hear," answer to "I come and see you, or else . . . hear" (Phi 1:27). Next: Philippians Chapter 2

As you are aware, we had already endured suffering and shameful treatment in Philippi. But in the face of strong opposition, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.
They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. And they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death.
