In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; save me by Your righteousness.
I call on You, O God, for You will answer me. Incline Your ear to me; hear my words.
For the sake of Your name, O LORD, revive me. In Your righteousness, bring my soul out of trouble.
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.
O LORD, hear my prayer. In Your faithfulness, give ear to my plea; in Your righteousness, answer me.
The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.
Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men.
May my vindication come from Your presence; may Your eyes see what is right.
O Lord, in keeping with all Your righteous acts, I pray that Your anger and wrath may turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all around us.
