Ihr habt Fremdlinge von unbeschnittenem Herzen und von unbeschnittenem Fleische hineingeführt, daß sie in meinem Heiligtum waren und mein Haus entheiligten, wenn ihr mein Brot, Fett und Blut opfertet; und habt meinen Bund gebrochen zu allen euren Greueln hinzu!

So spricht Gott, der HERR: Es soll kein Fremder, der unbeschnittenen Herzens und unbeschnittenen Fleisches ist, in mein Heiligtum kommen, keiner von allen Fremdlingen, die unter den Kindern Israel wohnen;
Ihr Halsstarrigen und Unbeschnittenen an Herzen und Ohren! Ihr widerstrebet allezeit dem heiligen Geiste; wie eure Väter, also auch ihr!
So beschneidet nun die Vorhaut eures Herzens und seid forthin nicht halsstarrig!
Ihr israelitischen Männer, kommet zu Hilfe! Das ist der Mensch, der allenthalben jedermann lehrt gegen das Volk und das Gesetz und diese Stätte. Dazu hat er auch noch Griechen in den Tempel geführt und diese heilige Stätte entweiht!
