وَلَمْ أَرَ فِيهَا هَيْكَلاً، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ اللهَ الْقَادِرَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، هُوَ وَالْخَرُوفُ هَيْكَلُهَا.

no temple . . . God . . . the temple--As God now dwells in the spiritual Church, His "temple" (Greek, "naos," "shrine"; Co1 3:17; Co1 6:19), so the Church when perfected shall dwell in Him as her "temple" (naos: the same Greek). As the Church was "His sanctuary," so He is to be their sanctuary. Means of grace shall cease when the end of grace is come. Church ordinances shall give place to the God of ordinances. Uninterrupted, immediate, direct, communion with Him and the Lamb (compare Joh 4:23), shall supersede intervening ordinances.
افتح المصدر ↗Hitherto the prophecy of this book has presented to us a very remarkable mixture of light and shade, prosperity and adversity, mercy and judgment, in the conduct of divine Providence towards the church in the world: now, at the close of all, the day breaks, and the shadows flee away; a new world now appears, the former having passed away. Some are willing to understand all that is said in these last two chapters of the state of the church even here on earth, in the glory of the latter days; but others, more probably, take it as a representation of the perfect and triumphant state of the church in heaven. افتح المصدر ↗21:22 I saw no temple: This apparent conflict with earlier visions (11:19; 14:15-17) is resolved by understanding each visionary picture in Revelation as a separate symbolic representation of God’s presence. There is no longer any need for a temple in heaven because God is present with his people.

لأَنَّهُ هَلْ يَسْكُنُ اللهُ حَقًّا عَلَى الأَرْضِ؟ هُوَذَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَسَمَاءُ السَّمَاوَاتِ لاَ تَسَعُكَ، فَكَمْ بِالأَقَلِّ هذَا الْبَيْتُ الَّذِي بَنَيْتُ؟
هكَذَا قَالَ الرَّبُّ: «السَّمَاوَاتُ كُرْسِيِّي، وَالأَرْضُ مَوْطِئُ قَدَمَيَّ. أَيْنَ الْبَيْتُ الَّذِي تَبْنُونَ لِي؟ وَأَيْنَ مَكَانُ رَاحَتِي؟
قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوعُ:«يَا امْرَأَةُ، صَدِّقِينِي أَنَّهُ تَأْتِي سَاعَةٌ، لاَ فِي هذَا الْجَبَلِ، وَلاَ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ تَسْجُدُونَ لِلآبِ.
لأَنَّهُ هَلْ يَسْكُنُ اللهُ حَقًّا مَعَ الإِنْسَانِ عَلَى الأَرْضِ؟ هُوَذَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَسَمَاءُ السَّمَاوَاتِ لاَ تَسَعُكَ، فَكَمْ بِالأَقَلِّ هذَا الْبَيْتُ الَّذِي بَنَيْتُ!
«أَنَا هُوَ الأَلِفُ وَالْيَاءُ، الْبَِدَايَةُ وَالنِّهَايَةُ» يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْكَائِنُ وَالَّذِي كَانَ وَالَّذِي يَأْتِي، الْقَادِرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ.
وَرَأَيْتُ فَإِذَا فِي وَسَطِ الْعَرْشِ وَالْحَيَوَانَاتِ الأَرْبَعَةِ وَفِي وَسَطِ الشُّيُوخِ خَرُوفٌ قَائِمٌ كَأَنَّهُ مَذْبُوحٌ، لَهُ سَبْعَةُ قُرُونٍ وَسَبْعُ أَعْيُنٍ، هِيَ سَبْعَةُ أَرْوَاحِ اللهِ الْمُرْسَلَةُ إِلَى كُلِّ الأَرْضِ.
فَإِنَّهُ فِيهِ يَحِلُّ كُلُّ مِلْءِ اللاَّهُوتِ جَسَدِيًّا.
وَسَمِعْتُ آخَرَ مِنَ الْمَذْبَحِ قَائِلاً:«نَعَمْ أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ الإِلهُ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ! حَق÷ وَعَادِلَةٌ هِيَ أَحْكَامُكَ».
