things to come--the blessings of the Christian covenant, the substance of which Jewish ordinances were but the type. Compare "ages to come," that is, the Gospel dispensation (Eph 2:7). Heb 2:5, "the world to come." the body is of Christ--The real substance (of the blessings typified by the law) belongs to Christ (Heb 8:5; Heb 10:1).

لأَنَّ النَّامُوسَ، إِذْ لَهُ ظِلُّ الْخَيْرَاتِ الْعَتِيدَةِ لاَ نَفْسُ صُورَةِ الأَشْيَاءِ، لاَ يَقْدِرُ أَبَدًا بِنَفْسِ الذَّبَائِحِ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ، الَّتِي يُقَدِّمُونَهَا عَلَى الدَّوَامِ، أَنْ يُكَمِّلَ الَّذِينَ يَتَقَدَّمُونَ.
الَّذِينَ يَخْدِمُونَ شِبْهَ السَّمَاوِيَّاتِ وَظِلَّهَا، كَمَا أُوحِيَ إِلَى مُوسَى وَهُوَ مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ الْمَسْكَنَ. لأَنَّهُ قَالَ:«انْظُرْ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَسَبَ الْمِثَالِ الَّذِي أُظْهِرَ لَكَ فِي الْجَبَلِ».
لأَنَّ النَّامُوسَ بِمُوسَى أُعْطِيَ، أَمَّا النِّعْمَةُ وَالْحَقُّ فَبِيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ صَارَا.
الَّذِي هُوَ رَمْزٌ لِلْوَقْتِ الْحَاضِرِ، الَّذِي فِيهِ تُقَدَّمُ قَرَابِينُ وَذَبَائِحُ، لاَ يُمْكِنُ مِنْ جِهَةِ الضَّمِيرِ أَنْ تُكَمِّلَ الَّذِي يَخْدِمُ،
