عَالِمِينَ أَنْ مَهْمَا عَمِلَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ فَذلِكَ يَنَالُهُ مِنَ الرَّبِّ، عَبْدًا كَانَ أَمْ حُرًّا.

any man doeth--Greek, "any man shall have done," that is, shall be found at the Lord's coming to have done. the same--in full payment, in heaven's currency. shall . . . receive-- (Co2 5:10; Col 3:25; but all of grace, Luk 17:10). bond or free-- (Co1 7:22; Co1 12:13; Gal 3:28; Col 3:11). Christ does not regard such distinctions in His present dealings of grace, or in His future judgment. The slave that has acted faithfully for the Lord's sake to his master, though the latter may not repay his faithfulness, shall have the Lord for his Paymaster. So the freeman who has done good for the Lord's sake, though man may not pay him, has the Lord for his Debtor (Pro 19:17).

The apostle proceeds in the exhortation to relative duties which he began in the former, particularly he insists on the duties of children and parents, and of servants and masters (Eph 6:1-9). II. He exhorts and directs Christians how to behave themselves in the spiritual warfare with the enemies of their souls; and to the exercise of several Christian graces, which he proposes to them as so many pieces of spiritual armour, to preserve and defend them in the conflict (Eph 6:10-18). III. We have here the conclusion of the epistle, in which he takes his leave of them, recommending himself to the prayers of the believing Ephesians, and praying for them (Eph 6:19-24).

عَالِمِينَ أَنَّكُمْ مِنَ الرَّبِّ سَتَأْخُذُونَ جَزَاءَ الْمِيرَاثِ، لأَنَّكُمْ تَخْدِمُونَ الرَّبَّ الْمَسِيحَ.
فَيَكُونَ لَكَ الطُّوبَى إِذْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ حَتَّى يُكَافُوكَ، لأَنَّكَ تُكَافَى فِي قِيَامَةِ الأَبْرَارِ».
فَإِنَّ ابْنَ الإِنْسَانِ سَوْفَ يَأْتِي فِي مَجْدِ أَبِيهِ مَعَ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ، وَحِينَئِذٍ يُجَازِي كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ حَسَبَ عَمَلِهِ.
اَلشِّرِّيرُ يَكْسَبُ أُجْرَةَ غِشٍّ، وَالزَّارِعُ الْبِرَّ أُجْرَةَ أَمَانَةٍ.
لأَنَّهُ لاَبُدَّ أَنَّنَا جَمِيعًا نُظْهَرُ أَمَامَ كُرْسِيِّ الْمَسِيحِ، لِيَنَالَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مَا كَانَ بِالْجَسَدِ بِحَسَبِ مَا صَنَعَ، خَيْرًا كَانَ أَمْ شَرًّا.
لِكَيْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَتُكَ فِي الْخَفَاءِ. فَأَبُوكَ الَّذِي يَرَى فِي الْخَفَاءِ هُوَ يُجَازِيكَ عَلاَنِيَةً.
بَلْ أَحِبُّوا أَعْدَاءَكُمْ، وَأَحْسِنُوا وَأَقْرِضُوا وَأَنْتُمْ لاَ تَرْجُونَ شَيْئًا، فَيَكُونَ أَجْرُكُمْ عَظِيمًا وَتَكُونُوا بَنِي الْعَلِيِّ، فَإِنَّهُ مُنْعِمٌ عَلَى غَيْرِ الشَّاكِرِينَ وَالأَشْرَارِ.
«اِحْتَرِزُوا مِنْ أَنْ تَصْنَعُوا صَدَقَتَكُمْ قُدَّامَ النَّاسِ لِكَيْ يَنْظُرُوكُمْ، وَإِلاَّ فَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عِنْدَ أَبِيكُمُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.
لأَنَّهُ لاَ بُدَّ مِنْ ثَوَابٍ، وَرَجَاؤُكَ لاَ يَخِيبُ.
اِفْرَحُوا وَتَهَلَّلُوا، لأَنَّ أَجْرَكُمْ عَظِيمٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ، فَإِنَّهُمْ هكَذَا طَرَدُوا الأَنْبِيَاءَ الَّذِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ.
