أَنْ يُذِلَّنِي إِلهِي عِنْدَكُمْ، إِذَا جِئْتُ أَيْضًا وَأَنُوحُ عَلَى كَثِيرِينَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَخْطَأُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَتُوبُوا عَنِ النَّجَاسَةِ وَالزِّنَا وَالْعَهَارَةِ الَّتِي فَعَلُوهَا.

my God--his God, however trying the humiliation that was in store for him. will humble me--The indicative implies that the supposition will actually be so. افتح المصدر ↗In this chapter the apostle proceeds in maintaining the honour of his apostleship. He magnified his office when there were those who vilified it. What he says in his own praise was only in his own justification and the necessary defence of the honour of his ministry, the preservation of which was necessary to its success. First, He makes mention of the favour God had shown him, the honour done him, the methods God took to keep him humble, and the use he made of this dispensation (Co2 12:1-10). Then he addresses himself to the Corinthians, blaming them for what was faulty among them, and giving a large account of his behaviour and kind intentions towards them (Co2 12:11 to the end).

قَدْ سَبَقْتُ فَقُلْتُ، وَأَسْبِقُ فَأَقُولُ كَمَا وَأَنَا حَاضِرٌ الْمَرَّةَ الثَّانِيَةَ، وَأَنَا غَائِبٌ الآنَ، أَكْتُبُ لِلَّذِينَ أَخْطَأُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ، وَلِجَمِيعِ الْبَاقِينَ: أَنِّي إِذَا جِئْتُ أَيْضًا لاَ أُشْفِقُ.
وَأَمَّا الْخَائِفُونَ وَغَيْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالرَّجِسُونَ وَالْقَاتِلُونَ وَالزُّنَاةُ وَالسَّحَرَةُ وَعَبَدَةُ الأَوْثَانِ وَجَمِيعُ الْكَذَبَةِ، فَنَصِيبُهُمْ فِي الْبُحَيْرَةِ الْمُتَّقِدَةِ بِنَارٍ وَكِبْرِيتٍ، الَّذِي هُوَ الْمَوْتُ الثَّانِي».
فَأَمِيتُوا أَعْضَاءَكُمُ الَّتِي عَلَى الأَرْضِ: الزِّنَا، النَّجَاسَةَ، الْهَوَى، الشَّهْوَةَ الرَّدِيَّةَ، الطَّمَعَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِبَادَةُ الأَوْثَانِ،
يُسْمَعُ مُطْلَقًا أَنَّ بَيْنَكُمْ زِنًى! وَزِنًى هَكَذَا لاَ يُسَمَّى بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ، حَتَّى أَنْ تَكُونَ لِلإِنْسَانِ امْرَأَةُ أَبِيهِ.
وَأَعْمَالُ الْجَسَدِ ظَاهِرَةٌ، الَّتِي هِيَ: زِنىً عَهَارَةٌ نَجَاسَةٌ دَعَارَةٌ
وَخَلِّصُوا الْبَعْضَ بِالْخَوْفِ، مُخْتَطِفِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ، مُبْغِضِينَ حَتَّى الثَّوْبَ الْمُدَنَّسَ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ.
كَمَا أَنَّ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ وَالْمُدُنَ الَّتِي حَوْلَهُمَا، إِذْ زَنَتْ عَلَى طَرِيق مِثْلِهِمَا، وَمَضَتْ وَرَاءَ جَسَدٍ آخَرَ، جُعِلَتْ عِبْرَةً مُكَابِدَةً عِقَابَ نَارٍ أَبَدِيَّةٍ.
لأَنَّ خَارِجًا الْكِلاَبَ وَالسَّحَرَةَ وَالزُّنَاةَ وَالْقَتَلَةَ وَعَبَدَةَ الأَوْثَانِ، وَكُلَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّ وَيَصْنَعُ كَذِبًا.
لِيَكُنِ الزِّوَاجُ مُكَرَّمًا عِنْدَ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ، وَالْمَضْجَعُ غَيْرَ نَجِسٍ. وَأَمَّا الْعَاهِرُونَ وَالزُّنَاةُ فَسَيَدِينُهُمُ اللهُ.
فَلَمَّا سَمِعْتُ بِهذَا الأَمْرِ مَزَّقْتُ ثِيَابِي وَرِدَائِي وَنَتَّفْتُ شَعْرَ رَأْسِي وَذَقْنِي وَجَلَسْتُ مُتَحَيِّرًا.
