طَلَبْتُ إِلَى تِيطُسَ وَأَرْسَلْتُ مَعَهُ الأَخَ. هَلْ طَمِعَ فِيكُمْ تِيطُسُ؟ أَمَا سَلَكْنَا بِذَاتِ الرُّوحِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ أَمَا بِذَاتِ الْخَطَوَاتِ الْوَاحِدَةِ؟

I desired Titus--namely, to go unto you. Not the mission mentioned Co2 8:6, Co2 8:17, Co2 8:22; but a mission previous to this Epistle, probably that from which he had just returned announcing to Paul their penitence (Co2 7:6-16). a brother--rather "OUR (literally, 'the') brother"; one well known to the Corinthians, and perhaps a Corinthian; probably one of the two mentioned in Co2 8:18, Co2 8:22. same spirit--inwardly. steps--outwardly.
افتح المصدر ↗In this chapter the apostle proceeds in maintaining the honour of his apostleship. He magnified his office when there were those who vilified it. What he says in his own praise was only in his own justification and the necessary defence of the honour of his ministry, the preservation of which was necessary to its success. First, He makes mention of the favour God had shown him, the honour done him, the methods God took to keep him humble, and the use he made of this dispensation (Co2 12:1-10). Then he addresses himself to the Corinthians, blaming them for what was faulty among them, and giving a large account of his behaviour and kind intentions towards them (Co2 12:11 to the end).

حَتَّى إِنَّنَا طَلَبْنَا مِنْ تِيطُسَ أَنَّهُ كَمَا سَبَقَ فَابْتَدَأَ، كَذلِكَ يُتَمِّمُ لَكُمْ هذِهِ النِّعْمَةَ أَيْضًا.
وَأَبًا لِلْخِتَانِ لِلَّذِينَ لَيْسُوا مِنَ الْخِتَانِ فَقَطْ، بَلْ أَيْضًا يَسْلُكُونَ فِي خُطُوَاتِ إِيمَانِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الَّذِي كَانَ وَهُوَ فِي الْغُرْلَةِ.
وَأَيْضًا مِنَ الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي أُوصِيتُ فِيهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ وَالِيَهُمْ فِي أَرْضِ يَهُوذَا، مِنَ السَّنَةِ الْعِشْرِينَ إِلَى السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ وَالثَّلاَثِينَ لأَرْتَحْشَسْتَا الْمَلِكِ، اثْنَتَيْ عَشَرَةَ سَنَةً، لَمْ آكُلْ أَنَا وَلاَ إِخْوَتِي خُبْزَ الْوَالِي.
اِقْبَلُونَا. لَمْ نَظْلِمْ أَحَدًا. لَمْ نُفْسِدْ أَحَدًا. لَمْ نَطْمَعْ فِي أَحَدٍ.
لأَنَّكُمْ لِهذَا دُعِيتُمْ. فَإِنَّ الْمَسِيحَ أَيْضًا تَأَلَّمَ لأَجْلِنَا، تَارِكًا لَنَا مِثَالاً لِكَيْ تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِهِ.
فَاغْتَاظَ مُوسَى جِدًّا وَقَالَ لِلرَّبِّ: «لاَ تَلْتَفِتْ إِلَى تَقْدِمَتِهِمَا. حِمَارًا وَاحِدًا لَمْ آخُذْ مِنْهُمْ، وَلاَ أَسَأْتُ إِلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ».
لكِنَّ اللهَ الَّذِي يُعَزِّي الْمُتَّضِعِينَ عَزَّانَا بِمَجِيءِ تِيطُسَ.
