افتح المصدر ↗In this chapter we have, I. The commission Christ gave to his twelve apostles to go out for some time to preach the gospel, and confirm it by miracles (Luk 9:1-6). II. Herod's terror at the growing greatness of our Lord Jesus (Luk 9:7-9). III. The apostles' return to Christ, his retirement with them into a place of solitude, the great resort of people to them notwithstanding, and his feeding five thousand men with five loaves and two fishes (Luk 9:10-17). IV. His discourse with his disciples concerning himself and his own sufferings for them, and their for him (Luk 9:18-27). V. Christ's transfiguration (Luk 9:28-36). VI. افتح المصدر ↗9:48 Anyone who welcomes a little child: To welcome means to bestow honor and to treat as a social equal. The statement is shocking, since children in Jesus’ day had no social status in the community and were viewed as their parents’ property. Jesus took the lowest and most vulnerable members of society and announced that welcoming them was equivalent to welcoming him. • on my behalf (literally in my name): This means “as my representative.” • Whoever is the least among you is the greatest: True leadership in Jesus’ Kingdom is achieved through sacrificial service, not the exercise of power (see also Mark 10:42-45).

فَتَوَاضَعُوا تَحْتَ يَدِ اللهِ الْقَوِيَّةِ لِكَيْ يَرْفَعَكُمْ فِي حِينِهِ،

اَلَّذِي يَسْمَعُ مِنْكُمْ يَسْمَعُ مِنِّي، وَالَّذِي يُرْذِلُكُمْ يُرْذِلُنِي، وَالَّذِي يُرْذِلُنِي يُرْذِلُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي».
اَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمُ: الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ مَنْ أُرْسِلُهُ يَقْبَلُنِي، وَالَّذِي يَقْبَلُنِي يَقْبَلُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي».
وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَلَيْسَ هكَذَا، بَلِ الْكَبِيرُ فِيكُمْ لِيَكُنْ كَالأَصْغَرِ، وَالْمُتَقَدِّمُ كَالْخَادِمِ.
لِتَأْكُلُوا وَتَشْرَبُوا عَلَى مَائِدَتِي فِي مَلَكُوتِي، وَتَجْلِسُوا عَلَى كَرَاسِيَّ تَدِينُونَ أَسْبَاطَ إِسْرَائِيلَ الاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ».
«اُنْظُرُوا، لاَ تَحْتَقِرُوا أَحَدَ هؤُلاَءِ الصِّغَارِ، لأَنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ مَلاَئِكَتَهُمْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ كُلَّ حِينٍ يَنْظُرُونَ وَجْهَ أَبِي الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.
اَلَّذِي عِنْدَهُ وَصَايَايَ وَيَحْفَظُهَا فَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحِبُّنِي، وَالَّذِي يُحِبُّنِي يُحِبُّهُ أَبِي، وَأَنَا أُحِبُّهُ، وَأُظْهِرُ لَهُ ذَاتِي».
هكَذَا لَيْسَتْ مَشِيئَةً أَمَامَ أَبِيكُمُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَنْ يَهْلِكَ أَحَدُ هؤُلاَءِ الصِّغَارِ.
