But now--that you are going forth not as before on a temporary mission, provided for without purse or scrip, but into scenes of continued and severe trial, your methods must be different; for purse and scrip will now be needed for support, and the usual means of defense.

لاَ تَحْمِلُوا كِيسًا وَلاَ مِزْوَدًا وَلاَ أَحْذِيَةً، وَلاَ تُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَحَدٍ فِي الطَّرِيقِ.
الرَّبُّ رَاعِيَّ فَلاَ يُعْوِزُنِي شَيْءٌ.

وَبَارَكَ يُوسُفَ وَقَالَ: «اللهُ الَّذِي سَارَ أَمَامَهُ أَبَوَايَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَإِسْحَاقُ، اللهُ الَّذِي رَعَانِي مُنْذُ وُجُودِي إِلَى هذَا الْيَوْمِ،
الَّذِي أَطْعَمَكَ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ الْمَنَّ الَّذِي لَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ آبَاؤُكَ، لِكَيْ يُذِلَّكَ وَيُجَرِّبَكَ، لِكَيْ يُحْسِنَ إِلَيْكَ فِي آخِرَتِكَ.
