فَأَجَابَ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ:«أُمِّي وَإِخْوَتِي هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ وَيَعْمَلُونَ بِهَا».
لأَنَّ مَنْ يَصْنَعُ مَشِيئَةَ اللهِ هُوَ أَخِي وَأُخْتِي وَأُمِّي».
أَنْتُمْ أَحِبَّائِي إِنْ فَعَلْتُمْ مَا أُوصِيكُمْ بِهِ.
فَقَالَ لَهُمَا يَسُوعُ:«لاَ تَخَافَا. اِذْهَبَا قُولاَ لإِخْوَتِي أَنْ يَذْهَبُوا إِلَى الْجَلِيلِ، وَهُنَاكَ يَرَوْنَنِي».
وَالْعَالَمُ يَمْضِي وَشَهْوَتُهُ، وَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَصْنَعُ مَشِيئَةَ اللهِ فَيَثْبُتُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.
لأَنَّ هذِهِ هِيَ مَشِيئَةُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي: أَنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَرَى الابْنَ وَيُؤْمِنُ بِهِ تَكُونُ لَهُ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّةٌ، وَأَنَا أُقِيمُهُ فِي الْيَوْمِ الأَخِيرِ».
لأَنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَ فَعَرَفَهُمْ سَبَقَ فَعَيَّنَهُمْ لِيَكُونُوا مُشَابِهِينَ صُورَةَ ابْنِهِ، لِيَكُونَ هُوَ بِكْرًا بَيْنَ إِخْوَةٍ كَثِيرِينَ.
أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ:«هذَا هُوَ عَمَلُ اللهِ: أَنْ تُؤْمِنُوا بِالَّذِي هُوَ أَرْسَلَهُ».
فَيُجِيبُ الْمَلِكُ وَيَقوُل لَهُمْ: الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: بِمَا أَنَّكُمْ فَعَلْتُمُوهُ بِأَحَدِ إِخْوَتِي هؤُلاَءِ الأَصَاغِرِ، فَبِي فَعَلْتُمْ.
وَالْعَجَائِزَ كَأُمَّهَاتٍ، وَالْحَدَثَاتِ كَأَخَوَاتٍ، بِكُلِّ طَهَارَةٍ.
